Name of Project: 5-43 Leith Street Client: Edinvar Housing Association Ltd/Edinburgh District Council Location: Edinburgh Value: Ł2.0m Phased refurbishment of existing houses, shops and basements. Strengthening of floors, basements and replacement of timber members. Construction of new floors and roof structure. Stone Restoration and new structural supports through three storey basements.
	Name of Project: Bonnington Road Client: Bield Housing Association Ltd Location: Edinburgh Sheltered housing on two/three levels. Structural services. Due to basements and existing building rubble the site was excavated and backfilled. Ground stabilisation, superstructure in load bearing brick/block with pc floor units and timber trussed roofs.
Name of Project: Calders Sighthill Client: Edinburgh District Council Housing Department Location: Edinburgh Value: Ł5.2m Overcladding and refurbishment of three multi-storey blocks. Supervising officer and civil/structural services. Construction of concrete repairs and overcladding system with associated works.
	Name of Project: Chalfont House Location: London, UK Value of Project: Ł1.5m Extensive refurbishment of areas of two floors of a high quality residential block. Refurbishment includes extensive demolition work and addition of new balconies.Service provided was structural engineering.
Name of Project: Clyde Submarine Base Client: Ministry of Defence/Property Services Agency Location: Faslane Value: Ł2.5m Officer’s sleeping quarters, 3 storey accommodation building. Civil/structural services. Construction of pad/strip foundations and rc retaining walls with insitu reinforced concrete frame/floors and pc stairs, timber trussed roof.
	Name of Project: Cowgate Residential Hostel Client: Church of Scotland Location: Glasgow Three storey residential hostel in city centre site. Structural services. Construction of trench fill/pile foundations, underpinning of adjacent church wall, steel columns/beams to colonnade, reinforced insitu ground floor, pc upper floors and stairs, brick/block cavity walls, timber trussed roof.
Name of Project: Edenside Client: Eildon Housing Association Ltd Location: Kelso Sheltered housing for the physically handicapped. Structural services. Construction of single storey disabled housing, two storey amenity housing. Mass concrete foundations, brick facing, timber trussed roofs.
	Name of Project: Haugh Street, Stockbridge Client: Edinburgh District Council/Bield Housing Association Ltd Location: Edinburgh Care housing consisting of single and two storey flatted accommodation. Structural services. Construction of mass/RC foundations, pc floor and stairs, cavity walls, timber trussed rafters
Name of Project: Havant Way Location: London, UK Value of Project: Ł1.1m 12 new houses, built to lifetime home standards, utlising exisitng foundations. Services provided were structural engineering.
	Name of Project: Lochend Road South Client: Port of Leith Housing Association Ltd Location: Edinburgh Value: Ł2.4m Two storey housing and four storey flats including access road. Civil/structural services provided. Construction of ground beams/pad and trench fill foundations, cavity brick walls, PC floor units to flats and timber floors to houses, timber trussed roofs.
LOCATION: London, UK DATE: Current PROJECT VALUE: c. Ł2.2m This contract entails the replacement of the entire hot water services system on a local authority housing estate in South London. The client, the London Borough of Southwark, has employed Sir Frederick Snow & Partners Ltd on a variety of projects, including similar work on the Consort Estate, which requires the replacement of primary heating mains. The project value of this contract - also a current one - is Ł2.6m. Sir Frederick Snow & Partners Ltd has also been employed by the Local Authority for the structural engineering design of twelve new houses on Samuel Street in Southwark (see picture below). The project, which was completed in 1999, was worth around Ł1.1m in total. This project won a Commendation from the Civic Trust in 2000.
	LOCATION: Southwark, London, UK PROJECT VALUE: Ł50m in total The company is currently carrying out work for the London Borough of Southwark on the Aylesbury Estate. The requirement is to carry out a structural appraisal of 46 residential blocks, including a feasibility study for the future addition of extensions and penthouses The value of this project is estimated at around Ł30 million. Another project commissioned by the London Borough of Southwark was situated on the North Peckham Estate. The ten multi-storey tower blocks, dating from the 1960s, contain a total of about 1100 dwellings. Sir Frederick Snow & Partners Ltd was asked to participate in the structural renovation of these tower blocks. Work carried out included demolition of pedways and the design of new security stairs and lift towers to serve the residents. Work was completed in 1998; the project value was around Ł20m.
Name of Project: Main Street/Mungle Street Client: Castle Rock Housing Association Ltd Location: West Calder Value: Ł1.25m New 3 storey development and refurbished retail units in to 3 storey flats. Structural services. Construction of deep mineral bores to establish shale oil workings. Mass/RC foundations, pc and timber floor and pc stairs, cavity walls, timber trussed rafters. Existing three storey building altered steel and timber.
	Name of Project: Mount Vernon Client: North British Housing Association Ltd Location: Edinburgh Two storey sheltered housing. Structural/civil services. Construction of superstructure in load bearing brick/block with pc floor and timber trussed roofs.
Name of Project: Murray Cottages Client: Bield Housing Association Location: Edinburgh Care housing project on two storeys. Structural services. Construction of piled foundations, rc concrete ground floor, pc upper floors, brick/block cavity walls, timber trussed roofs.
	Name of Project: Nazareth House Client: The Poor Sisters of Nazareth Location: Lasswade New lift shaft. Structural services. Construction of R.C. foundation slab and brick wall to lift shaft. Glazed link to existing building with ramp access for wheelchairs.
Name of Project: Nazareth House Client: Poor Sisters of Nazareth Location: Manchester Value: Ł3.5m Two phased new home for the elderly at Prestwich, near Manchester. Civil, structural and M&E services. Construction of special foundation works with strip footings, concrete floors, large span timber trussed roof, glulam portals and beams.
	Name of Project: Polwarth Gardens Client: Appleprime Projects Location: Edinburgh Value: Ł1.00m New 2 storey flats with retail unit and underground car parking. Structural services. Construction of steel framed building concrete encased. RC pad foundations, pc concrete and timber floors upper 2 storey, RC retaining walls to car park.
Name of Project: Teviot Crescent Client: Eildon Housing Association Location: Hawick Value: Ł1.6m New build 5 storey sheltered housing development comprising 46 flats and common areas at Hawick. Structural services. Construction of RC retaining walls and insitu strip foundations, pc floors, steel columns and beams, cavity walls, truss rafters.
