The school's governing body commissioned Sir Frederick Snow & Partners Ltd to carry out work including site investigation, subsequent site inspection, and structural design for a replacement school for 210 pupils.

The new building contains seven classrooms, a hall/dining room, library, staff room, changing facilities and administrative areas. The library acts as the focal point of the school, with its two storey circular shape topped by a 6 metre glazed cone.

The classrooms, having load-bearing blockwork walls with a tiled monopitched timber roof, were positioned either side of a wide barrel-vaulted atrium supported on a series of centrally-placed steel trees.
