Sir Frederick Snow & Partners Ltd was appointed by the Ministry of Defence to carry out a five year cycle of structural condition surveys and reports for buildings and structures. Six Royal Air Force bases were surveyed under the terms of this contract.

The agreement extended to aircraft hangars, air traffic control towers, administration buildings, auxiliary buildings and residential accomodation.

The firm has also been employed on many individual military jobs over a long period of time. At RAF Mildenhall (below), the company carried out a condition survey and asset register for more than 130 facilities on the base.
