Several projects have been
performed by the Company in conjunction with PROJECT: Fish Island, A12 LondonCLIENT: London Borough of Tower Hamlets
(Project managed by Leaside regeneration Ltd)
A programme of
environmental improvement to an industrial area occupying a significant area of
development potential. Situated within London Borough of Tower Hamlets, it is
bounded by the River Lea to the east, the A12 to the west and Hackney to the
north. As well as bringing
significant improvement to the heart of Fish Island, the programme also
signalled this improvement along its road corridor. Three projects were
identified to achieve this: Old Ford footbridge, Wallis Road Footbridge and
Monier Road. The A12 carries a large
volume of daily traffic into and out of east and central London. The
selection of sites fulfilled the objective of broadcasting a confident,
prominent and positive image for Fish Island.
