  • Amman, Jordan - Environmental Site & Risk Assessments for commercial development
  • Slough, Berkshire - Environmental Site & Risk Assessment for industrial development
  • Mitcham, Surrey - Environmental Assessment of two manufacturing facilities to assess risks as part of pre-acquisition audit.
  • Rochester, Kent - Environmental Assessment of manufacturing facility to assess risks as part of pre-acquisition audit.
  • Newburn Riverside Industry Park - Engaged by our client Webfell on the largest project for reclamation of contaminated land in Northern Europe, some 92 hectares. Supervised and tested the laying and compaction of materials on site and produced validation reports of plots once completed.
  • Department of Housing, Edinburgh - Geotechnical and contamination investigations of sites for assessment with regard to future developments.
  • Reading Investigations - Provision of consultancy services and technical advice regarding mixed use development site targeted for investment portfolio. Following investigations, the site was found to be situated on contaminated land.
  • Foleshill Gas Works Site, Coventry - site investigations, contaminated land surveys, topographical survey and statutory undertakers services. Advice on reclamation project for approximately 65 acres of land.
  • IFTC Fireground Environmental Audit - Preparation of environmental audit for ground surround fire training facility including desk studies, contamination sampling and testing
  • Yard Refurbishment - Surveys, design and contract documentation for yard refurbishment including contaminated land studies.
  • A406 North Circular Road - Design and supervision of decontamination of part of a former gas works site to create a public park in the vicinity of the A406 improvement project. Project value £1.1 m.
  • Wandsworth Gas Site Investigation - Reports on contamination at the old Gasworks site.
  • Riverside Walk, Wandsworth - Advice regarding contaminated land for landscaping.
  • Wandsworth Enterprise Park - Design and supervision of reclamation of riverside site used as gas works for over 100 years. Ground was heavily contaminated with residues including coal tars, sulphates and cyanides. Project value £2m
  • Investigations into various sites, Birmingham, Cardiff, Tamworth and Rowley Regis - Four environmental impact reports researching possible site contamination, previous use, investigations, testing, analysis.
  • King's Lyn Contaminated Site - Design and application for an outline planning application for reclamation of a site which has been uses as a sewage farm and fertilizer processing works. Proposed use of land for housing and light industry.
  • Retail Development, Arbroath - Wide strip, pad and raft foundation for steel framed shopping centre on very silty clay and fill material on the former site of a large engineering factory.
  • Chloride Batteries, Essex - Feasibility study and cost regarding leadworks decontamination.
  • Littlebrook Power Station - Advice on the redevelopment of the site of an abandoned power station
  • Barnet Reclamation - Study and feasibility report for the reclamation of 16 acres of land formerly used as a sewage disposal works and tip site. 
  • HM Dockyards, Rosyth - Large-diameter cast-in-place pile and smaller diameter driven piles for warehouse buildings, workshops and office development. Ground is on reclaimed land constructed by dredging silt and sand from the river, and has a high tidal water table.
  • Surrey Docks Development, London Borough of Southwark - Development of 90 hectares, including main drainage, land reclamation, landscaping, bridges, industrial and housing developments, recreational and district centres.
    Site investigation showed that differential settlement of fill materials was inevitable and also established the presence of methane in sufficient quantities to be a potential hazard to buildings. Civil and structural engineering. Project value £24 m.
