LOCATION: London, UKDATE: Completed 2003Sir Frederick Snow & Partners Ltd have carried out works related to London Luton Airport for several different clients over the last three decades. Clients have included London Luton Airport Ltd, the UK Airport Development Sub-Group "RUCATSE" and, most recently, the Department of Transport, Local Government and the Regions (DTLR). The DTLR commissioned a study (SERAS) to determine capacity and development options for all major airports in the South-East of England over the next 30 years. Snows were appointed to develop a number of options for London Luton Airport, based on passenger estimates provided. Schemes including additional runways, taxiways and parking aprons were prepared in sufficient detail to enable budget cost estimates. These options prepared by Sir Frederick Snow & Partners Ltd will enable the airport to expand
its annual capacity from 5 million passengers to 30 million passengers.
