At the request of MyTravel Airways, an Inspection of the 280m Runway Extension at the 28 End of the 10-28 Runway at Syamsudin Noor Airport was undertaken during December 2004. Syamsudin Noor Airprot is located on the outskirts of Banjarmasin, which is on the island of Borneo in Indonesia.

An inspection of Taxiways Charlie and Delta was also undertaken as the taxiways were constructed at approximately the same time as the Extension. For completeness, the remainder of the 10-28 Runway was also inspected.

A report was prepared to determine the suitability of 28 Runway Extension at the Syamsudin Noor Airport, Banjarmasin and its suitability for use by B767 aircraft, which are chartered to transport the Muslim Pilgrims to the Haj.
