Sir
Frederick Snow and Partners Ltd have enjoyed a long association
with Dublin Airport, IAA, Aer Lingus and various other
Development Consortia in the vicinity of Dublin Airport. In 1992
Snows were appointed by Aer Lingus for Structural Engineering, M
& E Services and Civil Engineering design advice for an
Aircraft Maintenance Hangar at Dublin Airport. (See below).
Studies focusing on the Safeguarding of Public Safety Zones
(Irish Airports Authority 1996) and Obstacle Limitation Surfaces
(CRH Plc 1997) have been completed. In 1998, on behalf of IAA
Snows undertook a pre-licensing safety Audit of the three Aer
Rianta airports, namely Dublin, Cork and Shannon.
More
recently in 2005, Snows were asked to give advice to with
respect to various Terminal Expansion options and the
possibility of locating a second terminal to the west of the
cross runway.
